Yesterday I started replacing the runners for the Ikea Aneboda drawers and discovered what the fundamental problem with them was.  The runners supposed to be a single interlocking unit, but had split in half. One of my fellow sewing guild peeps has lent me her bag of Ikea things, which has their speshul hex keys.  Fingers crossed this works, cos the table on top of the drawers is just right without the set of drawers feet. I hadn't got around to buying the Aneboda drawer set to store patterns in & costumes items that need flat storage. I was going to put 2 back to back under my cutting table.  Just looked at their website and they're not there anymore. bahhh!

I'm bagging up stuff (supermarket reusable bags) to go back down to the storage room.  fabrics, bustle pads, sewing stuff, chemises, sheets (linen cupboard is down there), corset boning etc.  The supermarket bags are great for this cos I don't pack them too heavy for my tennis elbow to bitch over. :)    Although half of this doesn't have a ( Read more... )

I've sweated like a veritable piglet and assembled the first pantry (of the recent delivery).   I was determined to get it all together, and thankfully when I got the replacement hinges for the original flatpacks the Bunnings lady just gave me bag of hardware.
